Haematology, Immunology Quantitative and Qualitative. The Progress Medical Centre In-patient and out-patient laboratory serves both patients and referring physicians in our community. We pledge friendly, personal service and quick result reporting to all we serve. Our laboratory is equipped to do most of the day-to-day tests including the following: Malaria, Full blood count, Biochemistry, Cardiac panel, Tropical infections, Hepatitis, HIV monitoring, Thyroid hormones, Widal test, Micro albumin, Rheumatoid factor, Cardiac enzymes, Tumor factors and other many tests. Biochemistry tests: such as glucose, calcium, pancreatic amylase, albumin, LFTs, RFTs, Lipid Profile etc. Microbiology tests: stool, urine, throat swabs, ear/eye swabs, pleural fluids, CSF.

At Progress Medical Centre we have an onsite pharmacy catering to both in-patients and out-patients. After working hours, a stock of essential medicines is kept available in the hospital for emergency use. Normally the patient would be given the first doses of the prescribed drugs and would be asked to return the next day during pharmacy hours to collect the balance of the prescription. The pharmacy carries a wide range of medicine, most of them are high quality but is not a fully-fledged chemist and may not always stock all the medicines required.

We have all necessary equipment to provide physiotherapy. Our licensed and experienced physical therapist will develop a customized treatment plan, provide individualized attention and work in collaboration with your physician to give you the encouragement you need to get back into the swing of things as quickly as possible.

Plastic Surgery

Progress Medical Centre accredited by Health Professions Council of Zambia and we able to provide Investigation and treatment people who is living with HIV/AIDS for Members and for Nonmembers. We use Smart Care software facility. HMS (Hospital Management System). We use HMS software for confidentiality purpose. Reception, All doctors, OPD nurse pharmacy, laboratory, Physiotherapy, Theatre has PC . Patients files can be accessed only by a treating Doctor .
