Guidelines For Members

Introduction

These guidelines are designed to equip the general public wishing to become paid-up members of Progress Medical Centre with essential information on various categories of membership and how to enter into agreement. It also aims at briefing our old esteemed members on how the services have been streamlined with a view to enabling all members to make and obtain the best use of the facilities. Progress Medical Centre aims to provide high quality medical and clinical care for both out-patients and in-patients within a safe and friendly environment.

Point of access of services

Progress Medical Centre services can be accessed through two points:

  • Hospital Services at Plot No.6600, Northumberland Close- continuation of Jambo Drive at its junction with Chiwala Avenue, Kitwe.
  • 57 Enos Chomba Town Centre, Kitwe.
  • 5081 Saviye area, behind Kansanshi Community Centre, Solwezi.
  • Gynaecological and Obstetric surgery

Membership

Members of the public directly to join Progress Medical Centre membership scheme as individuals, family/group or through employers as corporate members. Members can access service :

  • Town Surgery
  • OPD
  • Hospital

Membership inquiries

Arrangements for new membership and renewal of membership can be done through our Public Relation Officer open from 08:00 to 15:00 hrs, Monday to Friday only. Appointments can be done to meet PRO by phone.

Clear Payment

Only members who’s Account (Membership) is active will be able to see the doctor. Those whose membership is inactive shall only be attended to by the doctor upon clearing the payment with the Accounts Department.
